Why is there a layer of oil on my peanut butter?
When we grind the peanuts, it releases their oils. These oils are what make peanut butter so creamy. Peanut oil is also a liquid at room temperature. So as the peanut butter sits, the oil rises and collects at the top.

My German Shepard and my Great Pyrenees/Chow Chow mix absolutely love this. They tried to lick it out of the jar. It’s very thin, just like natural peanut butter is, so I recommend stirring well. I ended up putting it in the refrigerator.
My dogs absolutely love this peanut butter, and I don’t have to worry at all about the ingredients – it’s so good. The consistency is fantastic for drizzling on medicine, lick mats, whatever, without being hard to stir up (you do need to stir a little each time as with any natural PB). When I put it on my dog’s pills he licks them up without missing a beat (and keeps licking the plate until I take it away 😊).
This is a great product and it’s priced well. My small dog absolutely devours it! We will be trying all the flavors.
I just loves he has his own peanut butter. It did make him sleepy. My son is a 7 year old boxer/pit mix.

My pups love it, it does separate a little bit so you will have to make sure to stir it.
My dog loves her zoomie butter. I put it in molds and freeze it, then put inside the pupsicle and it keeps her occupied for like 10-15 minutes. Then the effects set in and she’s noticeably calmer. The only thing is, I wish it was easier to stir.
My doggo has no complaints, it smells no different than regular peanut butter and it arrived in good consistency.
